Do you need a vacation but can't take time off work?  Or can't afford to see the
world? One of my favorite sites for an armchair vacation is EarthCams.  There
are literally thousands of web cams in all kinds of places all over the world.  My
favorites are the beach cams - see the beaches of the world!
  
How about some music while you surf?  There are zillions of internet radio
stations. My favorite place for music is Live365.com with thousands of radio
stations you can choose from, including over 900 classic rock stations.  
Another good site is Winamp.com where you can download a great free player.    
For videos and music Launch.com has a big selection and you can create  
your own "station".

Suzi's opinion:  Peer to peer file sharing programs such as KaZaA and 
Morpheus are not recommended because they contain viruses, spyware
and other malware which are known and well documented to cause a lot 
of problems to the users' computers.

How about shopping on the web?  I love the ability to compare prices, read 
reviews and research products.  I have included ads on these pages to sites
which I think are great for shopping.  Amazon.com has reviews of all its 
products: I love being able to read what others say before buying a product.
