Since I completed the original pages here, I have learned that Jamie Rosen is a 30 or 31 year-old man.
He attended Harvard Business school and was a toy inventor before starting Comet Systems.
This information was found on the web in a google search.

Here is another email exchange that a friend who is a tech support had with Jamie:

this is what I wrote to Jamie....I have had the same problems as you!

I recently read the conversation between you and Suzi. I agree with her to
the utmost. I used to use Comet Cursors on my pages, until I got complaints
from my friends that they are all over their system! I deleted the codes
from my pages and got rid of it. I am glad that I did! BUT now when I go
to other sites with the Comet Cursor on them, they automatically install
theirselves! And my browser security is always at medium or higher and I do
have it set to prompt me before installing anything.
Working at an internet company as a technician, I get calls from people all
the time saying that their mouse cursor has changed, and low and behold, it
is Comet Cursor that is causing the problem. Now, these are people who call
in for us to explain how to turn on their monitors or change their desktop
wallpaper! There is no way they would install anything because everything
to them is a virus, no lie. But somehow they still get these cursors
invading their computer.

I LIKE the Comet Cursors to an extent. I wish though that they were not so
intrusive. I would probably start using them again, if not for that program
that it installs on your system that has all those damn cursors and the
program that runs in the system tray!!

I'm sorry you lost your enthusiasm for the Comet Cursor. The next version
eliminates the system tray icon, incidentally.
